🙌 4 months of support
…connect with other people who are in a similar place in ED recovery, in an intimate virtual setting led by an anti-diet eating disorder Registered Dietitian. We'll explore weekly themes to guide you on this next phase of your recovery journey, and feel supported by your peers along the way.
...to broaden your nutrition knowledge and help you expand into the next phase of your eating disorder recovery, sent directly to your inbox each week. Watch at your own pace as we scrape away the diet culture and take things in baby steps.
🎧 Weekly 60-minute Zoom calls
…to dive deeper into each week’s theme together in community. This is a helpful and supportive conversation with all group participants (it’s not one of those “dietitian talks at you” calls!). There are 14 live calls in total over the four months we're together.
📝 Curated resources, worksheets and reflective prompts

You've been struggling with a restrictive eating disorder for years and are ready to put it behind you for good.
You want to deepen your relationship with food and body in a community with others who've also been through a full blown eating disorder and "get it".
You've already done loads of recovery work (like gone to therapy, did the hospital programs, worked with an RD, read the self-help books, etc.) and it hasn't translated to the recovered life you always envisioned for yourself.
You're medically stable and have minimal ED behaviours showing up like they used to
You want to feel connected with others and work with a provider that challenges traditional approaches to ED recovery.
You're ready to reclaim recovery as your own, even if you don't know what it will look like.

Meet Courtenay, your program facilitator
Hi! I'm Courtenay Vickers, an eating disorders Registered Dietitian based in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada.
With over a decade of experience as an RD, I'm passionate about weight-inclusive eating disorder care. I use an anti-diet lens, challenge diet culture norms, and look beyond traditional ED care to help folks heal their relationship with food and body.
I've run my own private practice for the past 6 years, specializing in eating disorders, and have collaborated with many other providers and organizations offering individual nutrition counselling, group facilitation, professional training and supervision, and more within the ED world.
When I'm not supporting folks with their recovery, I can probably be found exploring nature with my dog, baking something in the kitchen or reading a good book.

FAQs
Yes! Courtenay will be leading all live calls, and you will have access to her in the group setting. She will also available to all participants in a digital private community group between calls.
If you want to add individual support from Courtenay, this is an option for you at check-out :)
You are always welcome to reach out directly to talk about your options ([email protected]).
While this program isn't able to offer direct billing to insurance companies, depending on your provider and policy coverage, you may be able to submit your receipt for reimbursement. Check with your insurance provider directly to find out for sure.
After our 4 months together in this intimate group setting, you will be left with multiple new tools, strategies, and confidence to move forward with your recovery. Of course, everyone moves at a different pace. Courtenay will make sure to check-in with all participates as we begin to wrap up the program with options to move forward for those seeking additional support.
If you've already got a dietitian or nutritionist you are working with, wonderful! Group programs such as Reclaim Your Recovery can be a fantastic addition to this work.
Please note that the group program is not a replacement for individual nutrition counselling. If you are already working 1:1 with someone, Reclaim Your Recovery might be a wonderful addition to your care right now.
And if you are interested in working 1:1 with myself, Courtenay, you can add on individual sessions as part of your program purchase at check-out.
Medical stability is necessary for this program. This means that you are generally in a healthy place physically. If you are having regular symptoms of low heart rate or blood pressure requiring medical attention, and/or abnormal blood values related to your nutrition and recovery that need to be addressed, please talk to your medical team. Other indicators of medical instability may include: fainting, dizziness, lightheadedness, chest pain, and heart palpitations. If you are struggling with medical instability or other medical symptoms/issues, please talk to your primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner).
Reclaim Your Recovery is a 4-month program. This length of time will allow for you to deepen your relationship with food and body amongst peers and an RD who "gets it".
We will meet for 3 Zoom calls per month, with an integration week every month where there are no calls. You also get a kick off call at the beginning, and celebration call at the very end, for a total of 14 x 60-minute Zoom calls over the course of our 4 months together.
If you choose to add individual sessions to your program purchase, these will also be completed within the 4-month duration of the program.
Reclaim Your Recovery is a unique online program I developed specifically for those individuals who no longer require hospital treatment and want to further their recovery on their own terms. This isn't another introductory eating disorder recovery group, or an intuitive eating group. This 4-month program will give you the opportunity to go deeper with your relationship with food with others in a very similar stage of recovery as you.
Are you new to using online programs? No worries! "Reclaim Your Recovery" uses simple tech to make it easy for you to tune in weekly and get the most out of your experience. The most important piece is getting comfortable with using Zoom. If you have any tech issues along the way, email [email protected].
As for the group setting, I believe groups are a beautiful way to connect with others in a similar place in recovery. Having peers cheer you on, and truly "get it" when things are tough, can be an incredible experience. I've been running eating disorder recovery groups for years and truly believe in the power of groups!
It's normal to feel scared, especially when it's saying YES to something different that could change your life. This program has been designed to help you move to the next phase of your recovery and put your ED behind you. This is a big deal to say yes to reclaiming your recovery! And, you are worth it.
If you want to talk it through, book a call with Courtenay to chat more using the link above :)
By saying YES to Reclaim Your Recovery, you are making an investment in yourself.
Everyone has their own relationship with money and what they choose to spend depending on their life situation. To put this program into context: one-on-one work with an eating disorder dietitian for the same length of time as this program, and to receive a similar transformation, the investment would be around $3000 CAD. This program is not only designed to be more affordable at $1500 CAD, but the program is meant to help build connections with others and have deeper conversations beyond our live calls.
If you have been seeking support with your recovery in a way that feels different and not like another hospital program or intuitive eating course, and want something different than typical 1:1 work to build community and truly reclaim your recovery, this just might be for you :)
Of course I'd love to have you join every live call, but life happens and sometimes you can't make all the calls - scheduling conflicts or sick days, that kind of thing. In order to maintain privacy and confidentiality of all participants, these calls will not be recorded. But if you miss a live call, don't worry - you will still get access to all supplementary materials for any week you miss (bite-sized education videos, resources, journal prompts, etc.). Because this program runs over the course of 4 months, missing a week or two won't be a big deal and you'll still have plenty of time to dig into content and conversation.
